Empowering Your Witchcraft With Astrology

You do not have to study astrology for years to use it in your spells, rituals, and practices. This workshop will provide you with methods and perspectives that you can put to use quickly.

  • We will be looking at how to select auspicious times for your work. You can’t always wait for the right time so techniques for adapting to what is available will be outlined.
  • The glyphs for the planets and signs are sigils of power and can be used for standalone workings or as additions to your work.
  • How and why of capturing and storing celestial influences in oils, crystals, amulets, etc.
  • Astrological charts can also be used as the core of poppets, be warded, and used many other ways as an anchor or ingredient.
  • The twelve signs can be called upon like spirits. I’ll describe the basic ritual elements for this sort of work.

We’ll end with an experience of the sky that lives within each of us.

Working With Water Spirits

Nymphs, Mermaids, Oceanids, Well Maiden, Lake Ladies, and Water Horse, oh my! The element of water is diverse and vast and holds within it a variety of malevolent and benevolent spirits. From Faery women such as the Gwragedd Annwn, Melusine, and the Lake Ladies to Selkie, Nix, Naiad, and Nereid. In this class, we will discuss working with water as an elemental as well as a variety of beings that fall under the Water Spirit umbrella. Many are shapeshifters that can move from human to inhuman form while others embody the water or are God-like beings. We will discuss which ones are safe to approach through spirituality and the more accurate and not-so-benevolent nature of spirits such as Mermaids and Water-Horse. We will also discuss different bodies of waters such as the ocean, lakes, rivers, bogs, canals, and the spirits that tend to dwell in these places. Our focus will be on European Water spirits but the lecture will establish that there are a wide variety of spirits to work with that dwell within or near water on a global scale.

The Moon Made Me Do It!

Join Kanani as she focuses on Moon Magick!! The Moon routinely goes through the different astrological signs in its natural cycle. While it is nice to know about your own moon sign it can be particularly helpful to know what sign the moon is currently in while doing your spells and moon magick.  Boost your Full and New Moon spells by utilizing what sign the moon is in and utilizing its strengths. You’re already the Moon’s bitch, might as well make the best of it.

A Pacific Northwest girl at heart, Kanani Soleil (she/her) was born with a desire to learn the secrets of the universe and a fascination with different theologies. She actively sought out different paths in an effort to find her way. At twenty, she embraced Witchcraft. She became a proud mother to the two souls whose spirits were with her for years, a daughter and a son who look and act just as they did in her visions. Her favorite incense is Nag Champa because it reminds her of outdoor markets. Her practice involves candle Magick and reading Tarot. Her favorite phrase is “If you can’t stir with the big girls, stay away from the cauldron.” @soccermommorticia

Accessing Your Spirit Guides

Have you ever wondered who your Spirit Guides are and how to connect with them?  Then this is the workshop for you!  Tahverlee will lead you through an in-depth discussion on how your guides are working behind the scenes, how to differentiate between all your spirit allies and how to open the flow of communication between you and your spiritual support team. You are never alone on this path as a human and the spirit world is accessible with simple rituals and a deeply open heart to receive their guidance and wisdom.

Tahverlee Anglen walks with the blood of Athena in her veins, a conduit between the underworld and the cosmos, and she’s here to guide soul-level work. Tahverlee holds space unconditionally as a fierce seeker of truth. She is both the Temple Keeper at the Moon Temple Mystery School and a student of life. She commingles light and darkness to cut through the bindings that limit our own beliefs. She is a trusted leader who puts us in touch with our most genuine self-expression and ignites spiritual growth.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Hilary Whitmore (she/they) has been drawn to witchcraft since she was just a wee teen. She was raised in the Presbyterian church and attended catholic school, but both left her searching for something that felt more like home. Hilary has communicated with spirits for as long as she can remember. Both her mother and her grandmother were intuitives and she is grateful to have inherited that special skill, herself. Hilary began practicing witchcraft in her late 20’s, a shift that changed her life in wonderful ways. Today she works with herbs, ancestors, crystals, and candles. In addition to being a witch, Hilary is a trained opera singer and vocal instructor. She produces and performs ritual performance art that has taken her around the globe. After years in London and the Bay Area, she is happy to be back in the Pacific NW, living in Vancouver, WA with her ridiculously cute dogs Riley and Benny.
